After having been the owner of a reproduction company for a number of years, we started breeding worms as a second branch in 1985.

The first worms were imported from Hungary. They have their natural habitat in the soil there. We had found out pretty soon that breeding worms was our destiny, and we developed a specific food for these worms.

Thus, it did not take long before others companies throughout and even outside of Europe became interested in our worms. In 1990 we also started a cultivation unit in Poland. This unit only provides the Eusenia and humus.

Over the years, our company in Hattem has not stood still where innovation and automation are concerned. Now, as of 2003, we have one of the most sophisticated cultivation centres in the Netherlands, a production hall with floor heating and climate control that has over 2500 square metres of breeding space
